High Flash Point And High Solid Anti-Rust Paint (primer and surface)

Alkyd protective coating

It is composed of acrylic modified alkyd resin, coloring pigments, anti-rust pigments, fillers, additives, eco-friendly quick-drying solvents, etc

General information

Composition: It is composed of acrylic modified alkyd resin, coloring pigments, anti-rust pigments, fillers, additives, eco-friendly quick-drying solvents, etc.

Usage: Suitable for decoration, protection, and rust prevention of steel surfaces such as general steel structure workshops, grids, and guardrails.

Color: iron red, medium gray, dark gray (industrial gray), dark yellow

Gloss: Shimmer

Performance introduction:

Quick dry, medium gloss, good anti-rust performance, convenient application, and outdoors rainy season resistance.

Application Notes:

Theoretical consumption: 5.5㎡/㎏, (50 micron dry film, excluding loss)

Specific gravity: about 1.5

Drying time: 25℃ touch dry ≤2h, hard dry ≤24h

Coating method: spraying, brushing, rolling (bubbles may rise).

Surface treatment: Steel surface needs to be shot blasted or sandblasted to Sa2 level, or hand tool polished to St3 level. The steel coated with shop primer should be derusted again to St3 level.

Supporting paint: none.

Attention:

The paint contains pigments and fillers with a large specific gravity which apt to precipitate. It should be thoroughly stirred before application. The thinner should be added, generally less than 20%, for easy spraying or coating. Do not add excessively to hinder paint film forming and cause sagging. In summer, the pressure and distance of the spray gun should be adjusted to prevent "dry spraying". The temperature of the application substrate must be 3°C higher than the dew point, and the relative humidity ≤85%.
